Yeah, Briscoe has done squat all season then gets the pole, crazy. Several in the top 10 who want to knock Bubba out of the last spot. Should be a fun race.

I'm chilling and gonna watch the Xfinity race.

Xfinity was great. Tomorrow gonna be bonkers
Definitely. Felt bad for Bayne. Don't know what Hill was thinking. He wasn't gonna win on that lap.

Don't know if they mentioned it during the race, but Bayne is gonna run the 19 full-time next season, so nice to see him wheelin' it right out the gate. He's had some tough breaks the last few years so I'd like to see him win a race or two.

And what the heck Creed. Can't get there. Has a bunch of top 5s but no wins yet. I think with all of that momentum, he jumped just a tad early. That was a hell of a finish. Classic Daytona, lol.

No wrecks yet, but this race is freaking intense and still in 2nd stage, lol.

FYI, if it's preempted by football, you can watch on Peacock or NBC Sports app.

That was the big one lol. Bubba can't be out-pointed now. He just needs someone ahead of him to win to get into playoffs.

Just wow. It’s so incredible how much safer this sport has gotten - you never see that anymore but it used to be fairly common. Rusty did it twice in one season. Just wild. So thankful he’s okay.

And Blaney’s wreck is what killed Dale Sr. Ryan is completely fine. That was a massive hit.

I wonder how different it would have been had they not softened up the ends of the car, which was really rigid last season. I think they survive, but with possible concussions like what happened to Kurt last year.

Preece stayed overnight in the hospital at Daytona for further observation and tests. The report is that he's awake, alert, and communicating. He tweeted "I will be back" last night.

But the extent of his injuries is unclear. Will he be back next week? Next month? Next season? Not clear at this point without information on the injuries.
