Speculation that Belarus may be formally joining the war effort.

They might as well speculate that.

I've been, and still am speculating that Belarus will join the Russian Federation. However that includes Alexander Lukashenko being the next President when Putin steps down to sweeten that deal for Belarus, and that it will be done to allow the very rich to maintain their grip on power in Russia when they have to end their war and pull out of Ukraine. They've got to show some kind of win for Russia or they do face a citizen rebellion when Russia loses it's war with Ukraine.

And they will loose that war. So I'm not speculating that Belarus will join the war, rather they will be what allows Russia to loose the war without their very rich and powerful being killed by their own citizens during a bloody rebellion.

Putin in his speech praised Lukashenko much. To me that was seen as a furtherance of what I'm speculating about. That could be seen as a further setting of the stage for Lukashenko to make his entrance on the Russian stage with Belarus in his grip.

Another sign that my speculation about Lukashenko being groomed to become the next leader of the Russian federation because he can bring the entire country of Belarus into the Russian federation if he gets to be the next leader is on track.

They have to find a way to make it seem to the Russian citizens like they won the war, when they actually lost the war.

I don't think either Luka or Prigo want anything to do with Ukraine. And I think Lukashenko knows he has one foot out the opened widow. Prigo is just biding his time.

Khrushchev once said the USSR didn't have to fight the US because we would tear ourselves apart from within. Then the 90s happened, The Soviet Union collasped but the flawed culture that caused it remains. So do the thousands of nuclear weapons. And they'll still be there when the R.U. collapses. Something needs to be done about that.
