Looking more and more like a poor attempt for Prigo to turn over Wagner and try to save face.

Prigo pretty much screwed Wagner. Gathers his 25k troops and reaches the outskirts of Moscow before basically quitting and running off to Belarus and giving up all of their heavy weaponry in exchange for passage to Belarus.

The way I figure it, Wagner was stymied on the front lines and they knew Russia intended to absorb them into their armed forces on July 1, so Prigo knew they were in a bad way and decided he wasn't gonna be Putin's lackey.

People saying Wagner will still be intact in Belarus need to keep in mind they've been stripped of their heavy assets and they won't be the threat they were, at least not for a while. I wouldn't be too worried about them trying to take Kyiv. They don't have the manpower or weaponry they need to pull that off. I guess with Belarus backing them, maybe, but I'm not so sure.

Luka speaks. Not sure how this will play because it makes Putin look considerably weaker than anyone thought.

I wanted more context than the tweet alone provided about who he was speaking to so I looked at the comments the tweet had below.

I found this:

It was a funny comment but it didn't provide me with more context.

It looks to me like it was the Russian General staff he was talking to. I'm sure there is purpose for him to be doing that otherwise he would have been talking to them. If he intends to lead them then I could see why he was there talking to them.

I think he was there telling them why he is the one who is going to be leading them.

With this and the reports about Wagner turning in their heavy equipment. I see the era of Putin winding down and this war ending. Things are moving in that direction real fast.

Arguably makes Putin look stronger: Putin would have destroyed them but Lukashenko stepped in to plead for restraint and mercy.

disagree...they travelled almost 700KM in an entire day. Unopposed until 4 hrs outside Moscow and even then, Wagners inflicted way more damage to RuAF than the 2 vehicles they lost.

There is no strength in Russia via restraint. None. Zero. It is a Mafia-State.

If you dont put down your opposition fast and furiously, its a weakness.
