Well, Let's get Ben Johnson as HC and a QB with a top 2 pick in the Draft (8 Viewers)

Yes, he can make all the throws. Not sure what you're talking about.
As far as arm talent his arm would be average in the NFL. Carr more arm talent than sanders IMO. I’d take Ward all day over sanders

Johnson will have his pick of jobs next year.

Why would he ever want to come here?

Why would he want to go to the Jets or Jacksonville? None of the available jobs are going to be great. It's going to depend on what are the most important things to him.

I was just trying to go through the teams that will be shopping for a new head coach for next Season. Can we add Cowboys to the list? Giants? Will Andy Reid retire if he 3 peats? Are there other teams that I missed?

If it were between us, the Jaguars and Jets only, Johnson might stay OC of the Lions LOL.

Could be. Not a great list of options. Obviously, K.C. would be a great job, but I'm not sure Andy Reid is going to retire and the Giants and Jets are no better than us and have been worse over the list 5 to 10 years. And no coach wants to deal with Rodgers after he got two head coaches fired so far. And in Dallas you have to deal with Jerry Jones having his hands in everything.

I guess Miami is a possibility, though it would be dumb to fire McDaniel, but they likely have no QB given the Tua situation.

Oh, and if Miami fires McDaniel he should be very high on our list.

As far as drafting a QB, I'm not sure any are worth consideration outside of Cam Ward. But that's really it. Nuss, Sanders, Ewers, Beck..... all of em not named Ward scream bust potential.

Ward took monster steps between last season and the current, but he also hasn't gone against any good defenses. The best was Virginia Tech, and they're meh. Last season, he went against a couple of good defenses but I'm unsure of his play during those games.

Ward's completion percentage is a bit scary, he's not great throwing in structure, and as you said he hasn't really played a great defense yet. I think he has the most potential but he still has a long way to go IMO.

We aren't even coming close to the playoffs. Even if somehow we win 6 of the last 9 games, that only puts us at 8 and 9. We'd likely have to win 8 of the last 9 to even have a shot at the playoffs. That's not happening.

We need to keep DA for the remainder of the season because he stinks and that'll almost guarantee a higher draft pick. We then need to hire Ben Johnson and, assuming we only win 1 or 2 more games this season (or none), we'll have a top-2 pick in the draft. Draft Shedeur Sanders or Quin Ewers - both are elite, special QBs. Let's start from scratch on offense.

Just my hopeful opinion halfway through this embarrassing season.
I agree, it’s time to invest in a young qb with an early draft pick. I think Archie was the last first round qb chosen by the Saints.

What the Saints have:

An owner who has no hesitation in spending whatever is necessary to acquire the players and coaches the team believes they need.

A GM who has no hesitation in making bold draft day trades and annihilating the cap to stay competitive.

Both the owner and the GM are extremely patient and give a minimum of three years for someone to succeed, or fail.

The ONLY ugly thing about the Saints situation is Loomis is still walking the cap down so they can't be as active in free agency and trades as they'd like.

They've bent over backwards trying to give a loser tools to succeed with. Imagine what they'd do for a guy like Ben Johnson.

I would also add a division that’s ready to win.
You’re not chasing a Mahomes, Hurts, Daniels, Allen, or Jackson in the South.
