There were more rants and worse stuff he removed and blamed on being drunk. He’s all about fame. He’s one of those dudes that would follow any saints fan on Twitter and once he got his numbers up high he dropped everyone to make numbers look better. I remember all the people complaining about that as well.

100%. I didn't want to see Brees in a Saints uniform, or any uniform for that matter, ever again after that game. A game like that is nothing but a stain on his legacy. I'd be far more upset if he'd stuck around than about anyone saying that.

Man, I've let go of how last year ended. It sucked, but him returning and playing at a diminished level at the end doesn't at all outweigh or even stain everything that Drew has meant and accomplished for us.

DW's Drew comment does for me outweigh everything else DW'S done however.. mostly because I don't really know anything else of great note that DW has done except trash Drew.

Not bent out of shape, I think most people are just saying that as Saints fans who like Drew, that dumb comment from DW turned them away from him.

Unfortunately with his youtube gone we can't link to his excellent film analysis that he puts out multiple times a week.

I was ready for Drew to leave after Teddy went 5-0. Not because I thought Teddy was the answer or he could match Drew's production but because it made it clear that Drew wasn't the driving force behind this team's success anymore and was beginning to hurt the team's chances. 2019 might have been a year too early to let him go but 2020 was absolutely a year too late.

It was also a breath of fresh air not having the HoF QB monkey on our backs for those five games. Every win was gravy, just like when Drew went down again last year. It wasn't strictly Super Bowl or bust, which is exhausting and really sucks a lot of the joy out of watching football.

Drew deserved to ride into the sunset a champion after 2018. He was robbed, we were robbed. But that really should have been where it ended.

I totally forgot about the Brees thing. Yeah context is key, as far as I know he has always been a fan first & he was drinking and emotional about the Bucs loss & ranted a little about Brees’ awful performance. He quickly apologized as well and he puts out great content on a weekly basis so He has my support. You could dig up far worse things said about Drew in our weekly game day board after any poor performance.

Nah, I think that tweet is exactly who he is...He wrote a message to a Saints fan days later and the message was also in such poor taste. His continued commentary on the subject even on SR just further illustrated that he's pretty arrogant.
