Classic case of overhyping a player once the Saints sign them for cheap. No way you'd be saying these things if the Falcons had signed him.Miami's offense is very predicated on getting the ball into its primary playmakers' hands. They're not like us, where it seems spreading the ball around is a point of emphasis.
If you watch their games, you'll see that the ball is either going to Tyreke, Waddle, or one of their RBs out of the backfield on just about every play.
I mean, Tyreke alone had 1,800 yards, and Waddle had 1,000 in only 14 games.
Look at Miami's target distribution compared to ours. Wilson is third in Wide Receiver targets with a mere 38. For us, that #3 target honor goes to Michael Thomas, who despite only playing in 10 games, managed to have 64 targets.

I don’t understand why fans like you want to throw cold water on another fan’s optimism. Wilson brings something different to the table and can help the team. Would it be better if we didnt sign anyone?Classic case of overhyping a player once the Saints sign them for cheap. No way you'd be saying these things if the Falcons had signed him.

What a heck of a trade off.So I take it Michael Thomas is not coming back?
I also remember when he hit free agency... I thought Miami was lucky to sign him... seemed like an up and coming talent. Can remember a few years ago watching a Cowboys game and envying that they had a WR like him. Was also annoyed when he signed with Miami.
This could be a sneaky good acquisition.
I just want to echo how good a signing it is. I live in Shreveport so I have to watch a lot of Dallas games, and Wilson is a gamer. High catch radius, doesn't drop many balls, and shows up big in crunch time. He's not the fastest guy ever, but can get separation and catch contested passes.
He will be a great #3/4 WR, easily the best #3 WR we have had since Willie Snead.
People dissing this signing don't know football.
Got buried on the depth chart and got fewer targets. He looked like a player on the rise when he left Dallas after 2021. I wonder what went on with him in Miami that he seemed to regress?
