We finally got our TE2 to complement Juwan whenever Foster’s ready to play. Great story for him to roll with his hometown team after they discovered a life threatening health condition for him earlier in FA. Going to be fun to watch both TEs thrive with Carr in our offense. Both are only 26 years old

Not only will there be a new head coach, but there will be some roster movement as well. There are sure to be some veterans let go as well as a handful of players whose contracts are expiring.

Contrary to an initial report from FOX Sports insider Jordan Schultz, the New Orleans Saints have not requested a head coach interview with Denver Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb. That report was shot down by NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

So why all the fuss about Webb? Just 29 years old, he first played college football behind Baker Mayfield at Texas Tech before transferring to the California Golden Bears once Patrick Mahomes arrived on campus. Webb spent all seven seasons of NFL career in the state of New York, all with either the Giants...

New Orleans Saints S J.T. Gray was named to Pro Football Focus’ 2024 NFL All-Pro Team.

When the Saints signed a once-overlooked UDFA defensive back out of Mississippi State in 2018, I doubt they realized the hidden gem they had found. Gray has been one of the few bright spots in New Orleans over the past couple of seasons and has solidified himself as one of the best gunners in all of football.

The two-time All-Pro and one-time Pro Bowler finished his seventh professional campaign with a 91.3 overall PFF grade, while his 14 special teams tackles were tied for the most in the league.

The New Orleans Saints are in the deep end of the head coaching market, with multiple candidates named and multiple interviews planned. One of the most prominent names linked to the Saints at this moment is Detroit Lions defensive coordinator/former Saints defensive backs coach and player Aaron Glenn. With another former Saints staffer Dan Campbell running things in Detroit, he had exceptionally high praise for Glenn in his post-regular season media availability, stating:

“Aaron Glenn is as good a coach as you’re gonna find, he’s an even better human being,” Campbell began. “Look if...

The New Orleans Saints are one of just many teams who enter a search for their next head coach as they begin the 2025 offseason.

Saints legend Drew Brees named former Saints defensive backs coach Aaron Glenn as his current top choice for the head coaching position when I asked him who his personal top candidate was this week.

But Brees also mentioned how many times the Saints have chosen to hire internally. That would not be entirely out of the picture in his eyes, and he says that if he had to choose one person from within the organization in which to promote, he would give the job to...

Aaron Glenn has been called the perfect fit for the New Orleans Saints head coach search. It’s a common choice that lines up logically given his qualifications and history with the team. But Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay takes a different route for his perfect marriage of team and candidate.

Kay paired Glenn with the Jacksonville Jaguars and said the Saints’ best option is Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator, Joe Brady:

Brady started his professional career as an assistant with the Saints, and built his much of his reputation in one year at LSU with Joe Burrow. He turned that into being the...

The New Orleans Saints have requested several interviews for their vacant head coaching position as of Tuesday. Of the names that they’ve requested thus far, each of them carries their own unique set of tools, ultimately bringing something different to the table. Some are young, up-and-coming coordinators looking for their first shot in this league, while others are longtime coaches finally on the brink of getting theirs.

And then there are others, who are looking towards their second go around at this thing, hoping to build up a franchise once again.

The widespread search for the Saints next head coach starts with these seven individuals below. Although the list will likely expand in the next couple of weeks, let’s start by getting to know this selective group of men and their unique background as potential head coaches for the Saints next season:

The New Orleans Saints are in quite the state of transition after finishing the 2024 season on a low note, falling 27-19 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the season finale. That ended their year with a 5-12 record, a top-10 pick in this year’s draft, and an uncertain future without a head coach in place.

There’s plenty of work to do as the team looks to find their next coach, has questions at quarterback for the long-term and has multiple positions of need to fill as the 2025 NFL draft looms ahead.

We spoke with former Saints quarterback Drew Brees on the state of the team and how he...

The New Orleans Saints have not had a truly reliable quarterback since the legendary Drew Brees retired, but have been going back and forth between different options.

For now, those primary options are Derek Carr, Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener. While the veteran Carr is clearly the guy for now, the Saints must start looking to the future soon and must evaluate the potential of both Rattler and Haener.

Brees recently weighed in on both players, who got a ton of playing time when Carr went down with an injury not once, but twice during the 2024 season.

“I think both of them showed great...

The New York Jets have requested to interview New Orleans Saints Interim Head Coach, Darren Rizzi, for their head coaching position, per report from Nick Underhill.

The Saints fired Head Coach Dennis Allen after a seven-game losing streak and Special Teams Coordinator/Associate Head Coach Darren Rizzi took over and rejuvenated the locker room, leading them to back-to-back wins over the Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns. The Saints would fall to the Los Angeles Rams but knocked off the New York Giants on a game-winning field goal block before dropping their final four games of the...
