The island will never be the same. Recovery will take decades. I’m guessing at some point they will have to completely evacuate the island, rebuild infrastructure and then begin rebuilding before repopulating. The people and community really is special there.

The "trend" of the track keeps moving north. It's consistent. Unfortunately, I think this thing ends up impacting Texas or Louisiana. Hopefully not as a major hurricane.

It's certainly not out of the question. While most models have a TX/Mex to central Texas coast hit,the GFS
has been trending more north. The latest shows Beryl riding the coast and bringing a lot of rain to the
Galveston area.

Im not entirely sure what that TikTok is referring to - im assuming "Flooring" was meant to be "Floating" - the Poko Loko floating bar?

im still trying to find how they spent $157mm USD - its a private venture that cost $1mm USD.

Euro has caved in and started trending north. Looks like a huge rain maker for
somewhere in Texas. The members on storm2k from Houston are becoming very

What makes this scenario even worse is that the forecast is for the storm to slow down its forward speed and linger over southeast Texas for a few days. If that happens, the flooding will be overwhelming. It could also bring back some really bad memories for folks in the greater Houston area.
