I have been in your shoes before. It was scary and I would have to catch myself when I would start thinking the worst. Thankfully my people eventually turned up. Praying for your loved one and everyone over there living this nightmare.I have a loved one from the adshville area missing as well. This is such a terrible feeling
Same here...very stressful time.I have been in your shoes before. It was scary and I would have to catch myself when I would start thinking the worst. Thankfully my people eventually turned up. Praying for your loved one and everyone over there living this nightmare.
This takes me right back to 2005- sitting on a curb outside the La Quinta trying to reach folks by cell/text - boss, friends, family - while understanding I have a wife and 2 yr old up in the room- will i even have a career now? an absolute avalanche of "What now" comes rushing over you and it can be quite paralyzing.
This sounds incredibly familiar right down to the 2 yr old and wife while wondering if I would have a job in the future and if I would get a paycheck to pay the bills that were due in a few days. I recall being more or less paralyzed for 4 or 5 days. And that was without still being in the disaster area with limited access to food, water, and electricity. I know it was much worse for so many then and so many now.
And yeah, I'm feeling some PSTD just thinking about it again.
They are trying to deploy starlink trucksSeems like a good time for T-Mobile and Starlink to go active.
