I thought Shingles was recommended at 50.We're in the thick of it here. Lot's of it going around right now.
I got my booster Wednesday. Also got the standard shots for turning 65. Shingles and Pneumonia. Three in one day is rough, especially of one of them is Shingles and the other is Pneumonia, they are large dose vaccines and the pharmacist was a clod about giving the injections.
He jabed them in to the hilt and rammed that plunger down like there was some kind of mass production time pressure. The swelling and bruising is pretty bad, and that abuse was not at all necessary.
Gentile is how to do a shot. Next time I'm going to insist that I do my own shots, I'll allow them to watch and learn.
Then they ran out of Covid vaccine after I got mine, but my son didn't get his two days later. That's a big national business who's currently going through bankruptcy. I wonder why???
Sorry to hear that.Welp, this evening I officially joined the ranks of Covid sufferers. First time I’ve caught it.. feel like crap, so tired.
I’m concerned about the rest of the family, we were sharing a water today…
I don't know about that. Glad no one told me.I thought Shingles was recommended at 50.
Yeah it's 50 here. My Dr. recommended it. My nephew has suffered twice. Both times he had to sleepI don't know about that. Glad no one told me.
They really get after one when they turn 65 here. All of a sudden I have four doctors to keep track of instead of just two. Three of them are MD's, instead of just one being one.
I hate it when one of them tells me to tell another of them something, the next time I see them. Like yeah, fat chance that happening.
I recall a time not that remote from now, when there was not even one doctor I had to keep track of.
I saw practitioners when I needed something, not MD's. I liked it being that way.

I'm creeping up on 60 like a semi headed for a brick wall and I'm dreading the shingles shot(s). And I've procrastinated about the updated covid booster as well. Guess I should go ahead and schedule those....maybe tomorrow.I don't know about that. Glad no one told me.

Other than the original Covid shots and got mild case of Covid once since then, I haven't done any boosters. I did get the shingles vax tho. That wasn't too bad. A little welt on the arm for less than a day and was fine.I'm creeping up on 60 like a semi headed for a brick wall and I'm dreading the shingles shot(s). I'm not a fan of a recliner sleep. I liked that when I was a kid and was sick at home from school. Could watch TV, black and white TV.Yeah it's 50 here. My Dr. recommended it. My nephew has suffered twice. Both times he had to sleep
in a recliner. I'm not dealing with that.
I didn't think the updated vax was available yet.I'm creeping up on 60 like a semi headed for a brick wall and I'm dreading the shingles shot(s). And I've procrastinated about the updated covid booster as well. Guess I should go ahead and schedule those....maybe tomorrow.
