Cutting the cable, lets talk options and media setups (3 Viewers)

Yeah. I typically use Hulu for all of my ABC and NBC content. Had access to the CW as well, but it seems that is now going by the waist side.

Right now, I mainly use view for cable stations like the USA Network

Grand, how fast does Hulu post new episodes for ABC or NBC?
I was strongly considering Hulu for my History Channel shows that I like. However, it looks like they don't even have any of the Vikings Season 4 episodes. I'm guessing that they won't get them until the end of the season or beginning of next season.

You do know that you can watch History Channel shows for free, right?

Next day for both networks. They posted CW stuff next day as well until that contract ended.

Kodi Sports - Kodi Tips Sportsdevil is a free addon but you have to manually update it or it won't work and sometimes it won't work anyway. Sportsaccess costs a little but you get everything.

do you use sportsaccess? looks great for 38 for 90 days. include ppv events? mlb? all nfl?

I haven't yet it I will when the nfl starts. From what I have read the ppv's are usually a part of it. I'm not sure about MLB because it isn't popular with people outside the U.S. but it probably is. My experience with Sunday Ticket on my phone, PS3, etc... is that the first week or two is nothing but problems and then it works fine. I don't anticipate problems with this.

Oh man, I think that's your problem right there. If you can figure out a way to get that antenna facing west, I think you'll be ok.
Like I said, You're limited in what you can do in an apartment.
If I hear of anything you can do to enhance your reception, I'll let you know!

So as a follow-up on my antenna issue...

I recently purchased a 2nd TV for the living room and purchased a 2nd Mohu for it. For some reason, this Mohu is also called the Ultimate, but has a signal radius of 60 miles compared to the first Mohu Ultimate, which has a 50-mile radius. What's up with that?

Anyway, set the antenna on the same side of the apartment as the TV in my bedroom, but the new one is just above the door to the patio. Not only do I have the stations of the bedroom, but also picked up the missing BR stations, PLUS it also picked up WWL, WVUE, and WGNO (although with a weak signal).

I wonder what's the difference in the two Ultimate antennas to where they have the same name but one with a wider range.

Quick question for you Fire TV peeps. I recently cut the cable and use either a Roku 3 or OTA antenna for all of our needs. I'm considering getting an Amazon Fire TV stick to play with. I plan on loading Kodi onto it and seeing how I like it. Am I wasting my time with the stick instead of the Fire TV box? I'd rather spend $40 or less instead of $100. Thoughts?

I have a fire stick not the fire tv and it works fine. I have had no real issues per say aside from buffering / log filling issues on the stick. I am unsure if the fire tv will be better. I have it setup for 5 GHz via an Asus AC 1900 running Asus Merlin to get optimum performance from UVerse.

One (non expert) man's opinion here, but I have both (use KODI on both),and to me it's night and day having the TV box "hard wired" to the network particularly when watching live tv. I have about as good a wireless set up as a normal person could expect to have and to me the TV box is a much better experience and worth the money. That said, i use the stick on a secondary TV and I bring it with me when I travel and it is by no means a terrible experience.

I have the amazon antenna. Do you think this is a lot better? I have my antenna inside and i can never get Fox. If i put my antenna outside, i can get it, but i can't leave it there, so it's always a pain.

Mohu is top of the line in my opinion.
