I don't think that makes a difference other than people put up with those guys reaming players on the field. If a player like Shaheed or AT or CO screws up it's the QB's job to let them know and the problem is its happened multiple times BEFORE that play. I saw a few QB's chastizing players for screwing up this past weekend and none were Brady , Manning or RodgersRodgers would probably have a longer leash because of his past success, but it wouldn’t go on forever. Meanwhile, Carr seems to have a history of always being a piece away from being a top QB, so I don’t think fans have the patience to wait for him to get yet another coach/receiver/whatever to get him over the line.
Also, it’s ridiculous for fans to compare Carr to Mahomes, when one has never won a playoff game and the other is a two-time Super Bowl MVP. I’ve also seen Carr compared to Manning and Brady, two first ballot HOF QB’s. He doesn’t have anywhere near the track record to barge in the door and tell everyone else that they aren’t doing what it takes to win when he isn’t playing at a high level.
