Yes absolutely Derek Carr deserves a lot of blame for having less that 40 yards passing with 8 minutes left in the game. Derek Carr completed 2 forward passes for -18 yards. Do you know how hard it is to throw the ball forward for -18 yards. What was he averaging 3.8 yards a pass? His Passing Rating was 30 something.

Enlighten me as to how I commented on a specific play? YOU chimed in and assumed. DC4 has not been free of calling out the correct protection for the entire year. There’s 3 things that could possibly be in play here:
1.) DC4 is completely perfect at calling out protections, which is false, so let’s move on to the next ones.
2.) Our OLine just are 100% inept at blocking said protections, which they may be underperforming, but not 100% inept, so let’s continue to move on.
3.) DC4 and the OLine has way too many failed communications between the two.

So, if 3 is the case, then who does this fall on?

So "not calling out the correct protection on 3rd down blitzes are a little concerning. " That's not a comment on the 3rd down play that DC got sacked and McCoy got upset on was not what that comment was about ? Just like other have commented about that play ? If it was not, I apologize. I by no means that DC is without some issues , people have been mistakenly calling him out on that play as not calling the right protection and ignoring Ruiz's whiff that got him sacked
