If Vrabel is so great, why did the team he built up become trash? I'm not saying he's no good, I'm genuinely asking the question on why if he's so good, then why did Tennessee become garbage?

Vrabel worked as a consultant still doing football and BB went into media and returned to coach college b/c he's not wanted in the NFL anymore, or at least that is the thought. He called the Jets personally and they told him thanks, but no thanks.

Vrabel is a team, culture and identity builder. He's the type of coach we need.

I think moving on from Mariota to Tannehill was a smart move to maximize wins. I'd argue he got the most out of Tannehill.

Age, regression, who knows. He was a WR turned QB and came into the NFL a little older (24). Maybe the wear and tear caught up to him.

Plot twist - MOST coaches rarely amount to anything and get fired eventually.

There are so many different routes that have worked and not worked just the same.
