Same here. All I ask is if you're going to blame the POTUS for gas prices,give him credit when they go down. Better
yet,get more politically educated. The POTUS has as much control over supply and demand as I do the sunrise.

Growing up my father delivered newspapers in New Orleans, and when the drunks would stumble out of the bars (headed home), some of them would get wild and tip over his machines, break his machines, or kick in the glass on the machines.
There was one such series of events I will never forget. One week while out delivering papers we found a machine with a broken window, and we had to replace it in order to fill the machine with newspapers. The process took a while to complete, but we did it, filled the machine and we were off.
The next week, same machine, same problem. It was a frustrating morning (because work runs from 2am-10am) he got out, fixed it, and cursed the bastage that caused this problem.
The following week, same machine, same problem. This time he told me “if I ever catch the person that did this, I’m going to shoot them.” He fixed the problem, we filled the machine, and we were off.
The next week, same machine, same problem. I haven’t seen him so upset, but same thing, “if I catch this guy, I’m going to shoot him.” We fixed the problem, put the papers in the machine, and we were off.
The following week Christmas came early. Same machine, same problem, only this time there was a crowd of people surrounding the Jack arse who got his foot caught in the machine. My dad and I move through the crowd so we can get to the machine and put the papers in the machine.
A bunch of drunk co-Ed’s are asking my dad to get this guy’s foot out (he had been stuck there for some time), and my dad is just laughing. He tells them that some jackass has been ruining his machines, and this guy was going to have to fix it. Some big guy in the crowd felt brave so he and some other guys started circling my father threatening him (if he didn’t let the guy loose). As they got closer, my father pulled out his gun and pointed it at the sky telling everyone to back up. I have never seen roaches scatter when lights come on, but I am pretty sure it looked somewhat similar to that scene (except roaches don’t stumble into the street because they are drunk).
The guy is begging my dad to let him go, and he did. The guy gets his foot loose and offers my father his wallet, and my dad says “I don’t want your money, you are going to fix this.”
The guy might have been in college, but he wasn’t studying engineering, because that process set us back an hour. After fixing the window in his now brown pants, my dad gave the guy a ride home. The guy had to sit in the bed of the truck though because that smell emanating from his pants was really ruining the morning vibes.
When he got out of the truck, he pounds on the passenger window and screams “thank you!” A few years later that same guy ran across my dad in a different part of the city. My dad didn’t remember him, but he remembered my dad, and he thanked him for not shooting him. Lol.
I’m not big into vandalism (after seeing how frustrating it makes things for property owners). I understand why folks do it, but I also understand why property owners got to the lengths they go to.

Good story El Caliente. Kinda makes me think that if I ever see someone putting those stickers on gas pumps, I'll douse them in gas, then light them on fire. And as their running around maniacally engulfed in flames, I'll point at them and say, "I did that."

I haven’t lived in Sweden in the last 20-25 years, but over there gas is about $8.50/gallon!
