One week before Biden took office, I was paying $1.89/gal.imagine if gasoline was $2.80 a gallon in 2018.. oh wait, people forgot about that already for some reason......
so what you are saying is gas goes up and down continuously? One week before Biden took office, I was paying $1.89/gal.
Edit: Not saying it was on him, that's just the timeline I'm using.
I'm saying we'll probably never see it below $2/gal again, so not this time.so what you are saying is gas goes up and down continuously?
Pardon my frustration, yesterday I saw a political mouthpiece underscoring how bad this was (while under the last President’s watch that same person was saying it was near the end of the world levels of inflation).Sounds like this might be something you know a little bit about………………….
I think I heard that Amazon is having a Black Friday type sale next week? Anybody else hear that? Most of my shopping this year will be online.Pardon my frustration, yesterday I saw a political mouthpiece underscoring how bad this was (while under the last President’s watch that same person was saying it was near the end of the world levels of inflation).
I hope folks are doing their Christmas/Chanukah/etc. shopping now, because prices will only be getting worse.
I haven’t heard about that, but in team mtgs (over the last month) shipping problems (both land and sea) have been mentioned about a dozen times. Things are going to be a mess.I think I heard that Amazon is having a Black Friday type sale next week? Anybody else hear that? Most of my shopping this year will be online.
I hear ya, and I feel for guys in industry. But, I also blame the CEO's, etc of the oil companies for a lot of it. I don't want high gas prices, and the future is moving beyond fossil fuels, maybe it's time to get out of the industry while the getting is good.I have friends on Facebook, that when gas is below $2 gallon, they are all like pray for us in the oil industry, posting pictures of bbq Vienna sausages taking about how hard it is for the oil industry. then every time gas is high like this, the same ones complain about high gas prices. and I call them out every time, they crawfish and say that's different..
I own an oilfield service company. With that said, your friends sound like idiotsI have friends on Facebook, that when gas is below $2 gallon, they are all like pray for us in the oil industry, posting pictures of bbq Vienna sausages taking about how hard it is for the oil industry. then every time gas is high like this, the same ones complain about high gas prices. and I call them out every time, they crawfish and say that's different..
I have an annoying acquaintance on FB who flipped his lid because “politicians had shut down business” (in 2020) causing gas prices to drop below $2/gallon, which in turn meant the oil field workers would soon be out of work. That same guy once again flipped his lid when “Biden policies” caused gas prices to cross over $2/gallon. You can’t reason with some partisan weirdos.I have friends on Facebook, that when gas is below $2 gallon, they are all like pray for us in the oil industry, posting pictures of bbq Vienna sausages taking about how hard it is for the oil industry. then every time gas is high like this, the same ones complain about high gas prices. and I call them out every time, they crawfish and say that's different..
I think I see your error…yesterday I saw a political mouthpiece
I find politics to be beyond the pale (on both sides), and it’s so mind boggling to see people claim a team on an issue as clear as this. In the words of the Ragin’ Cajun himself, “it’s the economy stupid.”I think I see your error…
it goes beyond sounding.. lol..I own an oilfield service company. With that said, your friends sound like idiots
