Ty is looking very good at WR. I wonder why he hasn't had more success in the past as a WR?Don’t forget Ty Montgomery. I think he had like 3 or so catches for over 50 yds!
What I liked most about the young guys is that they all played pretty well LAST WEEK. But what would they do TONIGHT?
All that bunch did was turn in yet ANOTHER solid performance!!!
I’m beginning to think that we jus might have lil more talent at WR than we originally thought. I was at the game, and had a really good view of their play. Separation was NOT a problem! It was like nearly EVERYBODY was gettin open, n making nice catches!
What I think they lack most at this point tho, is game experience. I think the more they play, the better they’ll get!
For example, last week, Lil Jordan struggled on dat deep ball from Jameis. But tonight, he made a slick adjustment on a pass from Taysom to make a big catch! ( BTW, big props to Lil Jordan who had a helluva game! )
Only time will tell, of course. But no doubt, I was encouraged with wat I saw from our WRs tonight!
No one coaches up WR's like the Saints... And it's not even close. We have shown the ability in the Payton Era to take average guys and make them into stars.

Humphrey had no chance on that pass from Winston last week, because it was a bad throw. Taysom put the ball in a perfect spot for Humphrey. It didn't take much of an adjustment.
Over the last 4 years, Sean Payton has assembled some of his best coaching staffs ever! The “formula” first starts with bringing in good “coachable” players who are willing to work hard, but are also willing to listen m learn. The next part has been bringing in more “teaching coaches”, who focus on paying lotsa attention on technique n detail. WR Coach CJ. O line Coach Dan Roushar. In only his second year, LB Coach Michael Hodges has his crew ballin! New DB Coach Kris Richard already has his group stepping up n playing fast!No one coaches up WR's like the Saints... Now, I might be a lil biased here, but I think Ryan Nielsen is the BEST D line Coach in the NFL! With the loss of Malcom Brown n David Onyemata out for the first 6 games, we’ll be going into the season with a crew made up of 6th/7th round picks n UDFAs at DT.
Am I worried?
No, cause I got…Ryan Nielsen!
I am glad Ty Montgomery has a WR number. Uniform #88 doesn't look good running out of the backfield.Because he converted to RB out of necessity for GB. Then that kindof stuck with him and they tried it with Jets. We signed him in that type of role, but now he's converted back to fulltime WR.
Let's hope some of that rubs off on White!Man he is killing it. Dude catches everything. His concentration is wild.
I don't see it, I don't see much in terms of potential from this UDFA class outside of Bachie.
He was a projected to go late 7th Rounder/UDFA by most sources. Nothing particular excites me about him.
Everything I’ve read says he’s a 1-trick pony deep route WR. He could shine in the preseason with Winston and Hill throwing deep to him here and there.
Hey man, don't be bringing up old stuff!Gotta love the Page 1 quotes.
Shout out to Saint Lattimore for calling the deep balls.
I would say SammyMVPKnight deserves the credit for calling Callaway out. He was saying from the beginning he's good at those contested catches. Both of those catches were PI'd and he still caught them.Gotta love the Page 1 quotes.
