I'm gonna make a bold prediction and say DA is back again next year. I can hear Mickey now "injuries", "we showed progress", "we just need some breaks to go our way", "DA is a good coach, the fan's have no clue".

The way this team/organization is looking, I’m not entirely sure Loomis would be calling any shots

That's who I have as the short term replacement / bridge HC on my Bingo card for next year...

Someone has to guide this ship out of the storm in the short term.... because the issues this team has currently will be overwhelming for a 1st time HC / Young guy... It would be a setup to failure for someone green with no experience with this situation.

He has ties to the FO, QB, and players... and can help search for the next young offensive minded coach of the future.

He's not my long term choice by any means... but he makes a lot of sense as a transition HC that can get us to the next young HC after all this mess has been cleared out.

If you want a transition head coach go get Belichick or keep Rizzi. Gruden would destroy what little team unity we have left. He would deeply divide the team.
