I enjoyed watching his highlights. Gave me hope, he’s a force.

Hopefully the concerns (from pro people) about him not being the same after the ACL are proven false over time. Also hope his shoulder holds up. The shoulder he had surgery on, who many folks leave off of the injury portion of his past lol.
ACL's take about 2yrs to really get back to the way they were before.
BB was starting to look like the force he was in 2020 and the 1st 4 games of 21 at the end of the yr. Check out the TN game. Sig I gotta laugh, You did the same thing with Carr. "No Carr, Please no Carr, I hope he goes to the Jets , DON'T WANT CARR". Then you watch some film studies and say "oh wait he looks pretty good , I have hope " And you start to come around. I encourage you to watch a couple film studies before you pas judgement on a player, it will save you the stress

Yea true dat, I promise I’m not stressed tho. It all is what it is, I’ll be a fan till I die as I’ve been for so long.

I try to come around on any player even when I’m not a fan, just to try and accentuate a positive, that’s why I laugh at being called negative. I’ve been a fan since 80 and have seen so many bad seasons, this is all gravy to me now that we’ve won a Super Bowl and had so much success with Drew and Sean.

I’m still not sold on Carr, but I sure will be pulling for him, I still wish we’d have gone a different direction than Bresee but I sure will pull for him too. 😊

I also fully admit I worry excessively about injuries as this team seems to be hardest hit almost every season. Part of the game I know but I feel we need to look for the most durable guys we can find to combat whatever curse the team faces yearly lol.

Lastly, I love way more of the picks they make than the ones I am not a fan of. And I miss all the time.

Imagine Aaron Donald at 6'5. Thats our guy, His injury history made him available at 29 if he was Healthy... NO WAY WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN HIM. He's a legit Wrecking ball fits the freak athlete mold, hes been coached up and plays the position naturally. I just hope he stays healthy every 1st rd DL we select seems to get injured

Which is why so many of us are worried about the injury aspect.

I know that. And I’m really not at all looking for negatives. At all.

I’m excited for the pick and will be rooting the young man on, as I do with every player who dons the black and gold.

I guess Nick is being negative too.

Bud, Bresee was the guy Nick WANTED, He said so on Wed. And that article was extremely positive

Idk about everyone else, but I’m so tired of having to bank on the health of a d linemen we draft in the first. We are practicing insanity at this point
I honestly don’t care about some of these reactions. It’s ok if I have PTSD at this point when it comes to our health and track record with our last few D line picks 🤷🏿‍♂️ lol

At this point I assume every player is going to have to deal with injuries at some point in their career. Assuming his medicals show no lingering concerns, I like the fact that he's shown that he can overcome adversity with poise.

Man you’ve got to be trolling me. He starts off about the injury history. Which is all I’m referencing lol. I know he wanted Bresee, I’m just talking about injuries. You’re f’ing with me, right? Lol

You said I’m just looking for negatives….I responded then Nick must be too, as he addresses it too.

Literally his first sentence. Literally.
“The Saints drafted a big, powerful defensive lineman with an injury history.”

The very thing the “superior” folks here are dismissing and making fun of others for being worried about.

My bad. I see that he didn't miss time because the surgery was in January which might have been the offseason. However, for him to have surgery in January 2022 means he was injured in 2021. I mean people don’t just get surgery for the hell of it
He played 4 games in 21 and had an ACL, He had a nagging shoulder issue that he played with just like a lot of players have during the season that they wait till the season is over to have scoped. Since he was out for the ACL they did the shoulder and he missed NO gametime
