Right, because going to a bar makes you an alcoholic. Thank God that New York does not have as many bars as New Orleans or Shockey might have already been arrested several times for DUI.

No, I don't think it is, although I could be wrong. From what I understand, it's a fourth this year and a fourth next year that could become a third.

I'm pretty sure it's a fourth that becomes a third if he starts and remains healthy or a second if he performs very well (it might be he makes the pro bowl or leads the league in something).
So I don't think we can trade next year's fourth, third or second

The posts contains all of the stereotypes that Cowboy fans have for Shockey: drunk and arrogant. I don't disagree with that, but I think the post goes out of it's way to underline it. Again, he's not that stupid to order a double margarita & two shots of petron, then sign autographs for kids.

Exactly. If a story came out about how MM was a jerk to a bunch of people...and then you found out the guy telling it was a Falcons fan, would you believe it?

It just sounds made up. Like something you'd read in a nudey magazine. I can't believe this got to four pages. I guess it just gives the Shockey Trade haters something complain about.

The jerk while sober even tried to pick up his 16 yr old daughter while her boyfriend was sitting their. Real class act. that attitude that you cant be stopped. that YOU have the upper hand and the other guy is going to be fighting for his life all night long.

that is what shockey can bring to our offense. and honestly i would be willing to have his bad attitude along with it. im tired of this "good guy" attitude.

think back to the dome patrol.... those guys would literally hold ball carriers up so 2 or 3 other dome patrollers could get a free shot on them

thats the attitude the saints have been lacking of late.
