I have, but I don't recall them being so "stylish".

You know, the only thing that bugged me about Discovery and Picard to an extent....They always have to pause and talk about their feelings with/about someone/something while the whole world is blowing up around them and people are dying.....Can we have a little urgency please?!

I think that is because the seasons are too long. I like all the new series, but both seasons of Picard could have been done in half the episodes and discovery season 4 could have been 3-4 tightly packed episodes. I think the story arcs are overall good, just too much filler. So the characters have too much time to talk..

IMO Picard season 2 was pretty great. I loved all the backstory we got from Picard's childhood and the ending of the season was just perfect. Maybe 3 episodes here where nothing happened and we can almost just skip those.

SNW so far is very good. Episode 1 was great, IMO. Episode 2 wasn't as good. I like Uhura and the great character development we had with her....but the "solution" to the episode was just dumb luck and a little arbitrary. I don't like that. But still a pretty good episode.

The Chibnall/Whitaker seasons of Doctor Who had lots of arbitrary solutions, too. That really bugs me.

Definitely agree. I'm enjoying the show so far. Not the greatest episodes so far but I think there is potential. Appreciated the fact that the story focused on the potential destruction of a single planet instead of the whole galaxy as Discovery likes to do every episode.

Let me also declare that the opening for Strange New Worlds is the best opening for any Star Trek series ever. I usually skip the opening but I like watching this one every single time. Discovery’s opening is interesting because it’s a very different opening and they change it up through the season but it pales to job done on SNW.

It is quite good. The TNG opening theme will always have a special place in my heart, but I'm not sure it's the song you're referring to, though.

I really like the Enterprise opening as well. So different. I wish that show could have survived.

It’s my 2nd favorite opening. But yea, I wish they would have done season 5. They were supposed to show of the NX-Refit.

I hate the opening credits but love the show. It was cancelled just as it got going really well.

The opening credits themselves were OK with the idea of chronicling humanity's history as explorers, but that song was explosive diarrhea.

The opening music is lackluster and uninspiring. Just kind of boring. They definitely could have done better, although I wouldn't necessarily call it explosive diarrhea. Explosive it is not lol.
