Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (1 Viewer)

I don't think Scottie served under Pike, only Kirk.

The first episode he was in was the third episode of season 1of the original series. I think they had a different Chief Engineer the first 2 episodes.

But surely we'll get a "passing the torch" situation, right? Even if it is the last episode. I'd just rather see Hemmer go on to maybe teach at the Academy or something like that rather than die.
We would also have to see when/how Pike ends up in the Hawking chair as well.

Which is why I don't think he and Pike ever overlapped. I'm thinking that at this point in time, Scottie is at one of his other assignments he had before Enterprise became his baby.

I'm also seeing where they are going to look at Sam and James Kirk's relationship and James will appear in some form or other in Season Two.

Another episode I very much enjoyed. This might have been my favorite so far.

Another solid episode, which is outstanding for a first season Star Trek show. I liked a lot about it and caught a lot of old ST references. Hemmer got used a lot more here and I liked the dynamic with Uhura. La'an's arc was really good as well.

Still lovin' this series.

This was a tremendous episode. One of my favorite "Trek" episodes ever. Right up there with the first Borg episode in TNG.

The show is going pretty well, so far. I did enjoy the wrath of Khan kind of ship fight.

Yes, it looked incredible. I always have enjoyed episodes that are a bit more ship-centric.
So when the Enterprise started groaning and creaking from the pressure, I was pleased.

Although I didn't understand why they couldn't deploy the shields while the space bridge was connected to the other ship. Shouldn't the shields have been extended out far enough or does this version have the shields that only extend out close to the actual body of the ship?

This series has inspired me to reread Final Frontier by Diane Carey which features Capt Robert April and Commander George Kirk aboard a brand new, state of the art, unnamed, unregistered, stark white Constitution Class starship on her maiden voyage. It's one of my all time favorite Star Trek novels and highly recommended to any Trek fans.

This was a fun episode, but hijinks???

This is hijinks!!!

:giggles:

Another good episode. SNW is absolutely solid. My only complaint about the episode.....where the fork was Hemmer?
