Ukraine (21 Viewers)

I remember being against that trade. I was called all sorts of names.
Fwiw, you shouldn't be called names for being against the trade. It's a tough call either way. These trades are never simple or easy.

I was ok with the trade, but we knew that guy would be back at it. I don't mind if we take him out along with others. Who knows, maybe we got some intel from him and sent him on his way.

Whatever happens, I hope he eats a bullet or missile before this is over.

While I'm not necessarily a Britney fan, she's without a doubt one of the highest visibility Americans taken hostage by Russia and I think it's an important message to show that we do care about Americans unjustly taken.

There are still others we need to get back as well. Regardless, Russia is a sheethole country and should be treated as such.

That's kind of like walking up to a bear in a cage with a stick, and then sticking the stick through the bars to poke at the bear.
Only because your partner is sitting back watching, holding an elephant gun, but not letting you use it.

Every time I see something about Ukraine is tired or weary with the West, I’m reminded of a story. I have to say I fully support and understand how Ukraine must feel.
That being said, here’s the story.
Around 1981 or 82 my stepdad decided to get out of the horse business. These were purebred horses and were worth a lot of money in early 80s dollars. Instead of selling them off he donated them to a boy’s home somewhere here in Mississippi. He had no illusions about the organization selling those horses for cash. Which they did. A few months later they sent him a letter thanking him for his donation. Then in bold, “but it’s not enough!” He never donated again.
That seems to be what Ukraine is flirting with.

Did he happen to set restrictions to whom they could sell to, thereby reducing the value and proceeds from the sale, leaving them short of their goal?

;)

Or did innocent people, including those children, die everyday because of those restrictions?
