What is with Russia? The largest country on Earth with wasteland to spare, yet they build their ammo dumps on postage stamp sized parcels of land. This is the second one Ukraine has blown up which was too small.

I used to drive by one of our ammo dumps along the Columbia river on the Oregon side. We place our ammo in bunkers which are about a 1/4 mile apart from the other bunkers. A place which seems to be about three miles wide by eight or ten miles long along that by ship navigable river.

I also used to drive by where Port Chicago near Richmond CA once was. It was a loading port, and it was a ship which blew up there, not a long term storage dump, but it's gone now. It was too small, it's a non-existent once was a place now. There are still streets, curbs, gutters, and sidewalks where it once was.
