Young couple goes on van tour of US, boy comes back with van - no girl (2 Viewers)

Yeah, it would be nice, if they had police reports, and autopsy reports available, if stories go on the news outlets. It's like never being able to decide on your own, but rather have to take people's accounts as truth, when they are not under oath.

At this point there a no pictures released to the public, of any of the deceased related to this case, the couple's case, or Gabby......

Would be nice for whom? There are federal and state privacy acts that limit what information federal and state agencies can release about a person, including a dead person. And there's a history and good reasoning behind them.

I think, in this case, it is safe to accept their conclusion as factual. Why would they lie? I don't feel the need to see the autopsy report on every murder/suicide/accidental death that happens. When did we, the public, become so distrustful of EVERYTHING, that we can't accept an autopsy report? Now, if that guy had been a Senator and was in charge of some military oversight committee....then I think we should ask for a little more.

To what end?

Valid points!

I personally like to view things from different perspectives, so if it's just from the media, that leaves doubt in my mind, to make any conclusions. Speculation is all there really is, when you don't have all the facts.

If you believe that Robert Lowry is dead by suicide, because that is what is reported officially, then I understand your reasoning. For myself, I need more evidence. Not trying to be difficult here, just questioning the story.

So further to this, apparently it varies by state as to whether autopsy reports are public records. In many states they - but that doesn't mean they are fully released. There may still be state privacy acts that require redactions of some information and photos - and you might have to use the state's FOIA process to obtain release. Other states have outright prohibitions on the release of autopsy records.

I get your point, but making sure some guy on the internet (as cool and good-looking as you are) or general public curiosity aren't variables that makes the deck of interests that apply to whether police reports, autopsy records, and other evidence are released.

But if you really want to see what you can get, file a FOIA request. Apparently autopsy reports are public records in Wyoming. (It is Wyoming right?)

But if you’re not getting your news from ‘the media’ where are you getting it
And why is ‘not the media’ a more beneficial source?

Cool and good looking? Seems like a vailed insult, not sure how I deserved that. I apologize for not going a long with the official story. Just as a reminder, you did say earlier, that Rob Lowry's death appeared to be an accident.

Thanks for the information, and yes, I do believe it was in Wyoming. Is it possible you can obtain the autopsy? This is by no means an agreement for a client/lawyer contract, where payment will be collected or owed. Pretty sure you will be more likely to obtain it, than me...Since I usually get profiled as a cool and good looking. lol.

I just presume all of us here are cool and good looking. There's a few, and they know who they are, who probably don't fit the bill, but otherwise.

The only reason why I'd be more likely to obtain it is I'm more used to navigating those kinds of procedures, but otherwise I don't think there's any special attention for anyone . . . despite how cool and good looking I might be.

If it's true that autopsy reports can be released due to freedom of information in Wyoming, than whenever Gabby's autopsy report is finished and available for release, then the public could get access to that as well.

Great detective work super chuck!

Releasable - but subject to redaction under applicable privacy laws. Sometimes those redactions are pretty heavy.

My guess is they won't release Gabby's autopsy, because it was ruled a homicide, so they can keep it under wraps, until the case is officially over. Maybe hers will never be released, who knows.

I remember when surfer Andy Irons died, they released the cause of death in detail.

On Friday, June 10th the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office released the toxicology report for Philip Andrew “Andy” Irons. It states that his primary cause of death was a sudden cardiac arrest associated with coronary artery disease with a 70-80 percent stenosis (abnormal narrowing) of one of his arteries. It further states that his secondary cause of death was “acute mixed drug ingestion.” According to the report, the following drugs were found either on his person or in his system: Alprazolam (Xanax), Zolpidem (Ambien), cannabinoids (marijuana), naproxen (anti-inflammatory), cocaethylene (a chemical produced in the body when cocaine and alcohol are mixed that’s linked to causing heart attacks in people under forty), methamphetamine, methadone, and cocaine.

I never questioned this report, since it wasn't really a media sensation, except for the surfing world.

It is Wyoming but even the parents have said they haven't yet been made privy to what the autopsy says (unless they were lying to Dr. Phil).
