Texas, the new Florida (1 Viewer)

Finally!

In a statement to KHOU, an attorney for the teenager, Rick DeToto said: 'My client is a young man in high school with college aspirations. He is a new and inexperienced driver.

Texas driver's education courses don't say you can't "roll coal" to intimidate cyclists. The young, inexperienced driver is just learning the rules of the road. Now he knows, don't roll coal on cyclists and crash into them.

A young lady was sexually assaulted on a school bus. She reported it. The faculty rules that she invited the assault because she spoke to him. As a result, she was suspended for three days. He was allowed to carry on about his life. The other students began to walk out in protest. Fearing a loss of revenue, the police were called in to rough up a few kids as an example.

Is there another link? Because I didn’t get any of what you said in that article.

Maybe the social media post regarding the alleged sexual assult wasn't correct. That's what the school is saying anyway.

But according to a statement on Little Elm ISD's Facebook page, the demonstration "was a result of a social media post the day before that contained inaccurate information regarding an incident that happened a month ago." WFAA has been able to confirm yet the details of that reported incident.

I'm disappointed there won't be any barbeque.

Grew up in Ft Bend county in the Sugarland area, and judging by that videos background that is where the video was taken.

I dont have numbers to back this up, but i would think household gun owenership and hunting lisence% in that area is near the lowest in Texas.

Would y'all believe me if I said this is one of my greatest fears? I have a window that almost extends to the ground and I constantly worry that a wild pig, bear or someone high on PCP is going to bust through it while I'm asleep.

I don't mind dying, but I don't want to be shredded and tattered and left alive. Does no one else fret about these things?

Where do you live that all three of those things are prominieny enough possibilities to worry about.

Ive got the someond out of their mind on (insert substance) concern here, and bears(and cougars) are numerous outside of the city and occasionally make an an appearance in the urban areas(though probably not enough to worry about)... but as of yet feral hogs are sparse here.

Of course i suppose being nearly or outright impossible never kept me from having nightmares about something. In Louisiana as a 4-5 year old i had nightmares about a Jaguar in the woods behind my house and living in Houston and camping in Texas as a kid it was Grizzlies (briefly Velocaraptors after reading Jurassic Park). Nevermind that i was seperated from the nearest Jaguar by ~1000 miles, Grizzly ~1500 miles, and Raptor by 71million years. Of course these were childhood dreams, not concious worries...

Oh. I should'f probably clarified that in the back of my head, I'm like 64% sure these aren't logical worries... It's just how my brain works. BUT... Technically, it could still happen.

If those 25 pigs in the video decided to use their short, stout bodies for evil - they could take out a window.

There's a video in the Twitter thread of a single, possessed hog taking out a wrought iron fence like it was fashioned out of paper bags.

There are obese armadillos and beady-eyed possums that cut through my yard on the regular. I KNOW they have boar brethren. I know this.

I'm in North Texas. This is where the pig originated. Facts.

I would say you must be in a rural’ish part of NTX, but last month I took a pic of a momma bobcat with kitten in tow, in Plano near Coit/George Bush. Wildlife is everywhere.
