Olave came up limping on that last drive before Lutz missed the 61 yarder…Least we got Chris Olave?
Watch him go on the shelf for the next month or so..

No one’s perfect! Loomis has had many questionable off-seasons. Sean was that good and made it work. With Sean gone Loomis has to be better. They won’t because firing Loomis would be absurd. How dare he not be perfect in all things. I’m not sold on the Eagles being this Super Bowl lock either. Sounds like spiteful narrative from Saints fans who wanna doom spiral.
Joe Burrow.Bryce Young is going to be another Kyker Murray, and Stroud is an Ohio State QB.
Name the last Ohio State QB that amounted to anything in the pros… I’ll wait
No question. I’m not absolving Loomis from all wrong doing. But the dude is reviewing bad 4 weeks into a season and he must be fired because we need to keep insisting on the Eagles becoming this NFL power they’ve NEVER been able to live up to. Like the NFL follows chalk and all it takes is a team in the mix to get hot at the e right time.No one’s perfect! Loomis has had many questionable offseason. Sean was that good and made it work. Transferring to LSU and being coached up in one of the best offensive systems in CFB history makes it not count.Joe Burrow.
Or does transfering to LSU when you’re drafted arbitrarily make this not count?
Hopefully there’s a new staff as well lolWhat makes you think this staff has the ability to develop a rookie QB?
Name a stud Ohio State QB (that was a stud at Ohio St) that had a great NFL career…?Transferring to LSU and being coached up in one of the best offensive systems in CFB history makes it not count.
Brady had already "un-retired" before Loomis gave away that pick. They were thinking we were contenders.
They were thinking that an injury plagued 2021 season that still ended up a hair away from the playoffs was a sign that we weren’t staring down a rebuild.
They were thinking that we couldn’t possibly have another injury plagued season in 2022.
They were thinking we could overtake a division with (at the time) Brady retiring from the Bucs.
They were wrong on all fronts.
It really wouldn’t be absurd, there’s not being perfect then there’s making countless bad decisions over recent years. Of course, Payton carries as much blame for a lot of the following but he’s no longer here:They won’t because firing Loomis would be absurd. How dare he not be perfect in all things. Ruiz has arguably been our second best player on the OL. He’s shown clear improvement. Turner is on game 8? Finally healthy? How are they misses? It really wouldn’t be absurd, there’s not being perfect then there’s making countless bad decisions over recent years. Of course, Payton carries as much blame for a lot of the following but he’s no longer here:
1. Had about 5 years to prepare for Drew Brees’ retirement and the best he could do was saddle us with Jameis Winston.
2. Traded a likely top 10 pick when we didn’t know what we had at QB.
3. Some really bad misses in the draft (Turner, Ruiz the main ones).
4. Spending two 1sts on Marcus Davenport.
5. Hired Dennis Allen.
Because the pick is probably gonna be top 5 and we need a QB lol
