The New Orleans Saints accomplished what every team hopes to in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft — addressing their most important need with a great value pick. Oregon State right tackle Taliese Fuaga can man the spot Ryan Ramczyk has held and plug one of a couple holes in the Saints’ offensive line.
So what now? We’re already on to Day 2 of the draft, where the Saints own just one pick in the next two rounds (at No. 45 overall, or the 13th pick in Round 2). Obviously they still have many positions of need. But where should they move first? Or will the draft dictate that for them?
