Mark Ingram's suspension a stunning blow for the Saints

Stunning probably doesn't provide enough reaction to the news of New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram being suspended for the first four games of the 2018 season.

Ingram is one of the last players I would have predicted to miss time because of a suspension. He's an unquestioned team leader and one of the hardest workers on the roster.

But, in coach speak, it is what it is.

The New Orleans Saints have scheduled their next slate of head coaching interviews for the coming weekend, all of whom specialize on the offensive side of the ball.

Mickey Loomis says Saints' next coach won't have to keep any coaches

There were some concerns that a new head coach would have to hold on to some remnants of the New Orleans Saints’ previous regime. In his end-of-season presser, Mickey Loomis made it clear that would not be a requirement.
