Kansas City Chiefs all-time leading rusher Jamaal Charles will visit the New Orleans Saints this week, as first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Charles, 31, spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Chiefs, compiling 7,260 yards and 43 touchdowns. The Chiefs released Charles in late February 2017, after which he opted to sign a one-year deal with the division-rival Denver Broncos.

Charles rushed only 69 times for 296 yards as a Bronco in 2017, and he didn’t seem to be getting much attention on the free agent market this offseason.

The 2024 rendition of the New Orleans Saints have already succeeded where last year’s team failed. They’ve defeated a good team by knocking out the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

When the Saints finally started to put it together at the end of 2023, they defeated the lowly Carolina Panthers and New York Giants. The following game was against the Los Angeles Rams, and everyone wanted to see the Saints find success against a better opponent. Sound familiar?

This was the same sentiment expressed before visiting the Cowboys. But this time they passed the test. Alvin Kamara built on top of a...

The New Orleans Saints did something that the world thought impossible on Sunday by going into AT&T Stadium and stunning the Cowboys 44-19. Klint Kubiak’s offense completely embarrassed and dismantled the Cowboys inside and out. Derek Carr shined as he connected time and time again with anyone, he threw the ball to Alvin Kamara, while he reminded us that he is still elite by slapping four more rushing touchdowns to his already impressive resume.

It’s not every day that the Saints blowout an opponent in back-to-back weeks, it’s almost as if Saints fans thought this to be impossible. Let’s...

The good, the bad, and the ugly: Saints vs. Cowboys

The New Orleans Saints offense scored 40+ points for the second straight game this season and scored a touchdown on their first six drives of the afternoon against the Dallas Cowboys. They looked both efficient and were able to score on big plays, as they went on touchdown drives of 7, 11, and 13 plays while also scoring two 50+ yard touchdowns. The defense epitomized “bend don’t break” on Sunday, as the Cowboys made it into the red zone plenty of times but only found the end zone once. They sacked Dak Prescott three times and picked him off twice while also getting four tackles for loss...

NEW ORLEANS — The Cowboys are not like the Saints.

Following the Saints' dominating win in Dallas, Dennis Allen quoted rapper Kendrick Lamar during his postgame speech.

"Man, that's a hell of a win. Guys, that's a good football team that we just beat," Allen said. "Okay, 16 regular season wins in a row. Okay, that was a good team. All right. Now, okay, here's what we said. We said we had to come in here and play our brand of football. And that's exactly what we did. We played the way the Saints have to play this game, all right. And look, hey, sometimes you just gotta pop out and show...

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara had a monster game against the Dallas Cowboys, and one of his highlights was taking a screen pass from Derek Carr 57 yards for a touchdown. After the game, Kamara reflected on how smoothly that play developed.

The running back began by giving credit to offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak for making the call “right on time.” Kamara said that because of the execution by all players involved, from the linemen to the wide receivers, “It felt like a practice rep.”

For Kamara, it was easy. Once the ball was in his hands, all he had to do was run to...

The New Orleans Saints are here. After stomping out the division rival Carolina Panthers 47-10, the Saints continued their dominance in a 44-19 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. A lot has been going right for New Orleans in the young season and there are only a few mistakes that the team must clean up.

The Saints dominating Week 1 win was written off by many as them “beating the worst team in the league.” Despite this being the NFL and beating anyone as bad as New Orleans did Carolina being difficult to do, the Saints instead came out and replicated their dominant win on the road against...

Visiting Saints spoiled Dallas Cowboys' 16-game home win streak

  • News source: John Sigler

The Dallas Cowboys were so close to greatness. Dak Prescott had quarterbacked his way into a 16-game win streak at home in the regular season, and one of the last passers to outduel him — Tom Brady, whose Tampa Bay Buccaneers won a too-close 2021 season opener in Dallas — was in the FOX Sports broadcast booth. All the Cowboys needed was two more wins at home to tie their franchise record.

So it’s fitting that the New Orleans Saints cut them off at 16. And they didn’t waste much time doing it. A methodical opening touchdown drive was followed up with another strike, and then more, and...
