New Orleans adds another defensive lineman through free agency.

The New Orleans Saints have signed another defensive lineman to their roster in free agency. On Friday, the Saints signed defensive end Jonah Williams to a one-year contract, as reported by John Hendrix of Athlon Sports.

Williams, 29, played two games with the Detroit Lions last season. He'd also part of last year with the Minnesota Vikings but has spent the majority of his four-year NFL career with the Los Angeles Rams.

The Los Angeles Rams signed Williams as an undrafted rookie out of Weber State in 2020. At Weber State, he was the 2019 Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year.

After spending 2020 on the Rams practice squad, he was released by the Vikings after a failed physical in 2021 but returned to the Rams and played in eight games as a reserve defensive lineman. ...
