DeForest Buckner and Hunter Henry found a way onto the list while the Rams boast No. 1 player

by Sean Wagner-McGough

If you're ever feeling depressed about the state of the NFL, do yourself a favor by wiping your mind of anything tangibly related to the catch rule, the quality of offensive line play, the Chargers' kicking situation, and Christian Hackenberg by pulling up all 32 rosters and sorting each of them by age. After getting over the initial wave of depression that usually hits when you realize how much younger than you the vast majority of players are -- what are we even doing with our lives, man? -- you'll feel better knowing about all of the players we'll have the pleasure of watching for the next decade-plus.

As the offseason slogs along -- it's somehow only been like three weeks since the draft -- it's time to look ahead to the future of the NFL by answering a simple question that's difficult to answer: Who are the best young players in the NFL? To answer that question, we decided to rank the top 25 players under the age of 25.

So, here's where I need to say that there are a crap ton of incredible players under the age of 25, which makes compiling the list rather difficult. To begin, I visited every team's roster, sorted by age, and jotted down the names of players who I thought could have a chance of sticking on the list. By the time I was finished with that portion of the process, I had written down 59 names. I narrowed down that list to 32 players pretty easily, but that's when the trouble began.

According to a report by Ian Rapoport, the New Orleans Saints are a team that could be in the market for a quarterback in this year's NFL Draft.

Probably reading the writing on the wall, Rapoport doesn’t believe that Derek Carr is the long-term solution at signal caller for the Saints over the next 10 years. Aside from potential cap implications, it’s pointed out that the restructuring of Carr’s contract affords the Saints the ability to not go into the draft absolutely NEEDING to get a QB or even a QB with a particular draft pick.

There are some positional needs on the New Orleans Saints roster that are much more glaring than others. Still, getting a long-term answer before an issue becomes an issue is a good way to build a roster in the NFL. The Saints did this last year by selecting CB Kool-Aid McKinstry in the second round of the NFL Draft. In 2025, New Orleans can do this again, but with the linebacker group. One of the top 2nd round options is UCLA LB Carson Schwesinger, who at his pro day, met with the Saints privately, per Adam Schefter.

As I mentioned before, the Saints made a smart decision by selecting...

In this week’s CSC poll, we ask our readers what the New Orleans Saints should do in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft:

After 458 votes, staying at pick #9 won with 42% of the vote. Remaining at No. 9 of course wouldn’t cost the Saints anything, but they may miss the chance to get some of the players on the top of their draft board.

There is no real consensus on who the Saints may draft at #9, as players mocked to them range from edge rusher Shemar Stewart of Texas A&M to tight end Tyler Warren of Penn State. However, if they move up, they may get a chance to draft someone like...

ESPN’s draft day predictor is up and according to their simulation, Will Johnson is the expected pick for the New Orleans Saints at the ninth spot.

The Michigan cornerback is arguably the best cornerback in the NFL Draft. Though, Johnson considers himself to be a cut above the rest.

“A lot of respect to him (Travis Hunter); he won the Heisman; he’s done a lot of great things, but I know I’m the best cornerback in the draft.” Will Johnson said on PFT Live at the scouting combine.

Throughout his college career, he has received numerous honors, including being named defensive MVP of the...

The New Orleans Saints have a multitude of options at pick 9 in the NFL Draft. Almost every position can be upgraded on the roster, but the Saints should fix their offensive and defensive lines first if they want any success in 2025 and beyond. This is something head coach Kellen Moore has stated multiple times, and there are some great options to improve the lines. One of these prospects is Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham, who is visiting with the Saints this week, per Jeremy Fowler.

Graham is the top defensive tackle in the 2025 class, and if he is somehow available at pick 9...
