Moore, 36, was viewed as the favorite for much of the process later on, and ultimately will remain in New Orleans after winning Super Bowl LIX to coach the team that resides there.

Moore, 36, is now the youngest head coach in the NFL and the youngest full-time head coach in Saints franchise history. Just days ago he won a Super Bowl inside the Caesars Superdome, and he’ll be walking back onto that field to lead the Saints in 2025.

With the Super Bowl over, the New Orleans Saints can now resume talks with Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Coordinator and Super Bowl Champion, Kellen Moore. The Saints have narrowed their search and plan to hire Moore as their next head coach, which means he’ll need to assemble a new staff in New Orleans.

One of the positions that will need filling is quarterback's coach. It seems likely that current Eagles QB Coach, Doug Nussmeier, will fill the Saints vacant offensive coordinator role (not a guarantee), so Moore will likely have to look for a new QB coach.

An interesting name that could...

The New Orleans Saints offseason will be filled with tough decisions, one being the future of QB Derek Carr. Since 2023, Carr has had an up-and-down time in New Orleans. The Saints were hard to stop when he was playing well, but the issue was Carr’s consistency and questionable decisions on the field. The factor that made his play even worse was the contract, and although it looked great at the beginning, it has become one that crippled the Saints’ finances. This situation is similar to what happened with Russell Wilson in Denver, where they had to make a difficult decision. The Saints are...

During the Philadelphia Eagles’ rout of the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, there was one particular play and decision that stood out the rest.

The Eagles were leading the Chiefs 27-0 in the third quarter. By this time, there was a feeling the game was over. Kellen Moore didn’t take his foot off the gas. On the first play after a Kansas City turnover on downs, Jalen Hurts threw a bomb to DeVonta Smith, who appeared to be the primary target.

Moore is expected to be the New Orleans Saints head coach. He worked under Nick Sirianni and Brandon Staley in his last two stops. Both of...

Report: Derek Carr would have multiple suitors on the open market

Derek Carr future with the New Orleans Saints is up in the air and should be decided soon. He isn’t willing to take a pay cut and there’s a good chance he would opt to not waive his no-trade clause unless a great situation arises.

The problem is if it’s clear the New Orleans Saints are going to get rid of Carr regardless, teams may be reluctant to trade for Carr. The Saints were in the same situation two years ago when Carr left the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, do not expect a reluctant trade market to translate to a reluctant market if Carr becomes a free agent.
