The Saints are down and almost out after their latest lackluster performance against the Chargers. The bigger problem is they have no answers to fix it either.

INGLEWOOD
-- It's somewhat safe to say that the Saints' season is on life support. I wouldn't call it dead just yet, but we're almost there. New Orleans just lost its sixth straight game and is now 2-6 on the season. Under different circumstances, you might say that things could turn around and they have time, but that's simply not the truth here. This team is lost and has no answers, and I don't know how many other ways you can say that something has to change. The surface level problem suggest that nothing will, however.

"We'll go back, get to work, hopefully get a couple more guys back and hopefully start playing some better football," Dennis Allen said during his postgame press conference.

The Saints are the second worst team in the NFC, with the Giants set to play on Monday Night Football. Change is needed, but change isn't coming. ...

Per a report Matt Zenitz with CBS Sports, the New Orleans Saints are expected to add Robert Blanton and Jay Rodgers to new defensive coordinator Brandon Staley’s staff.

Blanton is a former NFL safety who drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2012 NFL Draft. After retiring from the NFL, he started his coaching career at Benilde-St. Margaret High School in Minnesota, as their defensive backs coach. He later joined Miami University (Ohio) staff as their defensive pass game coordinator and safeties coach.

Rodgers comes to New Orleans with over 23 years of collegiate and NFL coaching...

The interview process is vital to understanding how these prospects think and if they can make it in the NFL. The New Orleans Saints will do their due diligence throughout the combine week, and although the team has hinted at Derek Carr being the starter in 2025, QB still needs to be looked at going into the draft. One of these quarterbacks the team could target, Miami's Cam Ward, is considered the far and away top QB in the draft. It is likely Ward gets selected before pick 9, but per Nick Underhill, the Saints still met with him yesterday at the NFL Combine.

This meeting is not a...

Per Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.football, the New Orleans Saints had a formal meeting with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Sanders, son of Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, is one of the top QB prospects of this draft cycle. In the past two seasons at Colorado, he has amassed 7,362 passing yards, 64 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. The best game for Sanders would come in 2023, in a game against the Colorado State Rams, where he completed 38/47 passes for 347 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.

In 2024, he was given the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm award, as well as...
