Cameron Jordan has more sacks than any other player in New Orleans Saints history. While that’s part of what makes him a legend and one of the best players in team history, he’s one of the most beloved players for what he does off the field.

He’s flashed his great personality through quotes in the media and actions in the community. On Thursday, Jordan was recognized with the Bart Starr award for the player who “best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field, and in the community.”

Drew Brees and Demario Davis have also won this award during their time...

Former New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Sincere Haynesworth has found a new home with the Arizona Cardinals, after his second stint with the team this past season.

Haynesworth signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent at the conclusion of the 2024 NFL draft out of Tulane. Haynesworth spent the majority of his time with the Saints on the team’s practice squad, while also seeing a short time with the New England Patriots during the month of October. He was also selected in the eighth round of the UFL draft by the San Antonio Brahmas last July.

The Saints chose to not re-sign...

Dennis Allen doesn't view his 18-25 Saints record as a failure

Former New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen spoke with FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer on the “Unbreakable” podcast to share his reaction to his midseason firing. While most of the conversation surrounded the toll on mental health that comes with such a high-profile departure, Allen also reflected on his time with the Saints, which he doesn’t view as a failure despite an 18-25 record and three seasons out of the playoffs.

Allen is free to feel that way, and it’s probably a healthier decision than to wallow in grief. But Gayle Benson wouldn’t have made the decision to fire him if he hadn’t...

The New Orleans Saints are, in fact, requesting an interview with Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury. New reporting from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and NewOrleans.Football’s Mike Triplett confirms their interest in the former Cardinals head coach, as NFL insider Josina Anderson said earlier this week.

Kingsbury didn’t have a ton of success as the Arizona Cardinals head coach, but he’s shown a knack for developing young quarterbacks and his work with Commanders rookie Jayden Daniels has put him back on the NFL’s radar. Whether the Saints are looking to maximize...

Should the Saints hire Kellen Moore as the next head coach?

On Jan. 6, the news broke that the New Orleans Saints would be adding many names to their head coaching search. One of them, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, is Philidelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

While currently coaching for the Eagles, Moore used to be the OC for the Chargers and Cowboys. A young coach, he was also a Cowboy’s quarterback as recently as 2017.

But due to me growing up 40 minutes away from AT&T Stadium, I’m apprehensive about this move. Moore never seemed to be the belle of the ball for the fans or the local media as OC. Wanting specifics...

Former New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen joined Jay Glazer on Glazer’s ‘Unbreakable’ podcast, where Allen reflected on the day he was informed he was being relieved of his duties.

The most interesting tidbit of the story was Allen mentioned Mickey Loomis “was not really in favor of this move.” That was evident by Loomis insisting Allen was a good coach after the firing. While there’s something to be said for not kicking a man when he’s down, this felt sincere.

The assumption has floated around since the decision, but Allen’s comments all but confirms this was a Gayle Benson...

Could Aaron Glenn be the next head coach of the Saints?

The New Orleans Saints have requested interviews with many head coach candidates so far, but to me, one stands above the rest. Aaron Glenn is one of the top candidates in the NFL for several head coaching spots. The Jets, Bears, Raiders, and Saints have all requested an interview with Glenn, and I would not be surprised to see the Jags follow suit in the coming days. The NFL respects Glenn, and that’s evident from the massive amount of interest around the league, but what makes him a top candidate?

When Aaron Glenn took over as Lions defensive coordinator in 2021, the defense was in a bad...
