Saints players ride in the Krewe of Tucks

On Saturday, March 1, several New Orleans Saints players including Blake Grupe, Erik McCoy, Zach Wood, Jaylan Ford, and Tanoh Kpassagnon joined the Krewe of Tucks as they parading their way down the Uptown route in New Orleans.

This year’s parade theme was “Tucks Loves a Great Pair” with a krewe that includes over 2300 members.

The Krewe of Tucks was founded back in 1969 by a group of Loyola University students. The club took its name from Friar Tuck’s, an Uptown bar. The Tucks Charitable Foundation was founded in 2017 by Captain Lloyd Frischhertz and Dracos Morvant. Children’s Hospital...

The New Orleans Saints are hiring the University of Montana offensive analyst Scott Linehan, per a report by Nick Underhill.

Linehan, 61, began his coaching career in high school in 1987 before moving to college coaching in 1989 at the University of Idaho. Linehan wouldn’t begin coaching in the NFL until 2002 when he joined the Minnesota Vikings staff as the offensive coordinator. He would later have stints with the Miami Dolphins, St. Louis Rams, Detroit Lions, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Dont’e Thornton, a wide receiver out of Tennessee, had an impressive day at the NFL Combine and because of his performance, I think the New Orleans Saints should think about drafting him this April.
