By announcing a deal with Kellen Moore on Tuesday, the New Orleans Saints made Moore the youngest head coach in the NFL at 36 years old. He’ll turn 37 in July and is also the youngest head coach in Saints franchise history.
Moore would edge Demario Davis by just six months to be the oldest player on the team. His collegiate career overlapped with Derek Carr and Tyrann Mathieu. Davis and Moore were in the same 2012 draft class, and Cameron Jordan turned pro a year sooner in 2011. Moore isn’t far removed from some of the veteran leaders
