The end of the season unfortunately means the end of coaching tenures for some head coach. We’ve passed Black Monday, and we’re now in the swing of the league-wide coaching search with six vacancies. There were three firings after the season to join the three coaches fired during the season.

The New Orleans Saints moved on from Dennis Allen over two months ago, so he’s had time to get used to life not being a head coach. This also isn’t his first time being fired in the middle of the season. The Oakland Raiders dismissed him after just four games in 2014.

You can now add Reggie Bush to the list with Drew Brees and Jonathan Vilma as former New Orleans Saints players who believe Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn should be the next head coach of their former team.

Brees, Bush and Vilma were all teammates in New Orleans with Glenn in 2008, and Brees was still on the team when Glenn joined the coaching staff in 2016.

Glenn’s history in New Orleans lends itself to one of Bush’s important criteria for the next head coach. Bush believes the Saints “need somebody who is going to be able to lead not only the team, but the city as well...

Athletes in Action announced today that New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan has been named the winner of the 2025 Bart Starr Award for his outstanding character, integrity and leadership on and off the football field.

The award will be presented as part of the Super Bowl Breakfast 2025 on Saturday, February 8 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The 38th annual NFL-sanctioned event unites fans, local business leaders and football legends for a morning of celebration ahead of Super Bowl Sunday.

Former New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Sincere Haynesworth has found a new home with the Arizona Cardinals, after his second stint with the team this past season.

Haynesworth signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent at the conclusion of the 2024 NFL draft out of Tulane. Haynesworth spent the majority of his time with the Saints on the team’s practice squad, while also seeing a short time with the New England Patriots during the month of October. He was also selected in the eighth round of the UFL draft by the San Antonio Brahmas last July.

The New Orleans Saints have restructured their first contract of the offseason, clearing over $16M with former All-Pro lineman Ryan Ramczyk.
