Two free agents the Saints want to keep.

As the NFL Scouting Combine comes to a close, more information will get revealed.

For the New Orleans Saints, there's plenty of intrigue on what they'll do over the next week ahead of the new league year starting on March 12.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano got together to debrief from their time in Indianapolis and put out what they've heard from the week. Fowler gave a couple of Saints nuggets regarding Chase Young and Paulson Adebo.

Teams I've talked to are putting Chase Young high on the overall pecking order in the pass-rush free agency market. Part of the allure: There's still big upside there (still only 25), and while he spent last offseason idle due to neck injury recovery, he's completely healthy now and training vigorously for what he hopes is a breakout season. Expect the Saints to be involved in a potential re-sign.​
Saints corner Paulson Adebo is believed to be well-positioned because he's a 25-year-old, second-contract player with length and speed who is recovering well from the surgery on his femur in October. The feeling is the Saints will hope to re-sign him. ...​

Per a report Matt Zenitz with CBS Sports, the New Orleans Saints are expected to add Robert Blanton and Jay Rodgers to new defensive coordinator Brandon Staley’s staff.

Blanton is a former NFL safety who drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2012 NFL Draft. After retiring from the NFL, he started his coaching career at Benilde-St. Margaret High School in Minnesota, as their defensive backs coach. The interview process is vital to understanding how these prospects think and if they can make it in the NFL. Per Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.football, the New Orleans Saints had a formal meeting with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Sanders, son of Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, is one of the top QB prospects of this draft cycle. In the past two seasons at Colorado, he has amassed 7,362 passing yards, 64 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. The best game for Sanders would come in 2023, in a game against the Colorado State Rams, where he completed 38/47 passes for 347 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.
