Several members of last year's coaching staff for the New Orleans Saints have already found new jobs. And others are in the process of interviewing elsewhere.

The New Orleans Saints head coaching vacancy is heating up, with Mike McCarthy previously indicating that he will be focusing on the 2026 head coaching cycle, the current belief is that Kellen Moore may be the man to beat at the moment. This has been discussed across a wide variety of platforms by different reporters, most recently by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The New Orleans Saints are entering an offseason where they have 19 pending free agents, which leaves them with a lot of decisions to make. One of the higher-priority free agents that they should be looking to bring back is defensive end Chase Young, who had a solid 2024 season and looked to be a quality player on the defensive side of the ball at many points.

The New Orleans Saints first overall pick proved to be their best in 2024, as the Oregon State product proved to be a rock at left tackle, playing 98% of the Saints offensive snaps and playing them very well. As he continues to develop Fuaga should prove to be a piece the Saints can rebuild their offensive line around. In a recent interview with WDSU’s Fletcher Mackel, 2025 draft prospect Jaxson Dart shared some insight on his relationship with legendary former New Orleans Saints and Ole Miss quarterback Archie Manning. On top of that, he also shared how he would feel if the Saints call his name in April’s NFL draft.

“Yeah Archie’s been amazing, me and him have grown a very close relationship, talk to each other on a consistent basis, and he’s been a guy that I really looked up to ever since I was at Ole Miss. So just trying to follow under his wing,” Dart said after Tuesday’s practice session.
